It was a great honour to help the NSPCC launch the HACK challenge walks in 2010. Walking is a great way to keep fit and it can also have an uplifting effect on your mood. It’s a great way to raise money for the NSPCC to help support vulnerable and abused children”
JULIA has once again supported the NSPCC campaign Hike Against Cruelty to Kids [HACK] a challenging sponsored walk (20 miles or more). The eight HACK challenge walks took place across the country during the summer months. Each was designed for you to see some stunning natural scenery, and by signing up, participants were helping vulnerable children across the UK.
Started in 2005, these challenging walks not only take in some of the UK’s most beautiful countryside, but have helped raise over £450,000 in funds for the NSPCC and ChildLine’s vital services. Next year, why not sign-up and help raise funds to make sure that children and young people are better cared for and protected in the UK. This years HACKs took place in June and July with the majority taking place in September.
