Wainwright Walks
BBC Four’s Wainwright Walks is a stunning series shot in the Lake District. Julia walks in the footsteps of famous fell-walker and guide writer Alfred Wainwright (also known as AW).
Produced by Skyworks, the series includes beautiful aerial sequences of the Lakelands including Blencathra and England's tallest mountain Scafell Pike.
Series I and II, recently shown on both BBC Four and BBC Two was a huge success. Series III has recently been filmed for transmission in Spring 2009. Watch this space.
