BBC Four’s Wainwright's Walks is a stunning series shot in the Lake District. Julia walks in the footsteps of famous fell-walker and guide writer Alfred Wainwright (also known as AW).
Produced by Skyworks, the series includes beautiful aerial sequences of the Lakelands including Blencathra and England's tallest mountain Scafell Pike.
Series 1 and 2, recently shown on both BBC Four and BBC Two was a huge success. A third series is currently being filmed for transmission in autumn 2008 / winter 2009.
