Wainwright Walks : Feedback

I TRUST you will not mind my somewhat informal beginning to this letter, but after watching all of your Wainwright Walks programmes on BBC Two to start Ms Bradbury would seem a little too informal. Following the end of your first series I had meant to write and say how much I had enjoyed the short series and that I hoped you would be making some more!
The first series was so enchanting with your lone figure enhancing the solitude of the crags and the immensity of the landscape.
Your second series lost none of the magic of the first, the quotes from Wainwright, the music and your own refrained dialogue couples with your delighted smile when a new visa revealed itself to you as you arrived atop a ridge or reached your destination summit combined to create some of the most memorable television I am ever likely to see.
My sincere thanks to you and your crew for the magic that you portrayed in Wainwright Walks.

I HAVE fallen head over heels for Julia Bradbury. Her programmes are in the league of the best of British television and will be re-run down the years. She is such an obvious enthusiast for these programmes which are, clearly, created for the whole range of viewers, those who do not know the Lakes, novices, experts and sadly one-time fell walkers and those fans of Julia. It appears to me that the cameraman is a fan as well! The pictures are in focus, near and far!

I HAVE thoroughly enjoyed the whole series. Why is it so good? A wonderful combination of Julia Bradbury, the helicopter shots, the wonderful scenery and the video editing. A superb mix not to be forgotten.

NEVER seen you before. Never heard of you. Don't know anything about you. But I would like you to know that you just gave me one of the most enjoyable experiences of my long life. You made me wish that I was thirty years younger and lakeland made me wish I could live for ever. You are a very special broadcaster mainly because you have mastered the art of saying much more, by saying nothing. Thank you.
